Epic IT Support

For MSPs & MSSPs

Be the partner who never has to say no

We are the back-end engineering team for managed service providers. When a deal turns on Linux, AWS, Azure, identity, a VMware exit, or a penetration test your bench cannot cover, you keep the client and the relationship — and we do the work under your brand.

The situation

You have seen at least one of these this year

  • You won the deal, then found the Linux

A prospect signs, and discovery turns up a rack of RHEL boxes, an Oracle standby, or an HP-UX host nobody wants to touch. Turning it down costs the account.

  • VMware renewal just repriced the relationship

Your client wants out. Azure Local, Hyper-V, or Proxmox — at 100+ VMs, that is a wave-planned migration project, not a weekend.

  • The security questionnaire came back

Cyber insurance or a customer audit wants a penetration test, immutable backup evidence, and measured recovery objectives. You need results you can hand over.

  • Your senior engineer is one person

And they are on vacation, on another project, or about to resign. Bench depth you only need occasionally is expensive to hire and impossible to retain.

Our commitments

The four things partners want in writing

Subcontracting only works if the trust question is settled up front. These are contract terms, not marketing lines.

  • We stay invisible

Your brand on the deliverables, your ticketing system, your client communication. We can join calls as your engineering team or stay entirely behind you.

  • We never solicit your clients

Non-solicitation is written into the partner agreement. We have never approached a partner client directly and the channel is too valuable to risk.

  • Fixed scope, written first

You get a statement of work naming deliverables, assumptions, client responsibilities, and hours before anything starts — so you can price the job with confidence.

  • Senior engineers, US-based

The engineer who scopes it is the engineer who does it. No tier-one triage layer, no offshore hand-off, no training on your account.

Questions

Partner questions

The objections worth raising before you route a client to anyone.

Partner questions

Do you work under our brand, or do clients know about you?

Entirely your call. Most partners run us fully white-label — our engineers appear as their team, deliverables carry their logo, and the end client never learns Epic IT Support exists. Some partners prefer to introduce us as a named specialist subcontractor for credibility on large projects. Both work.

Will you go around us and sell to our clients?

No. Non-solicitation is a written term in every partner agreement, and it runs for the life of the relationship plus a defined tail. We have never approached a partner client directly. The partner channel is the majority of our business — undermining it would end the business.

What engagement models do you offer?

Three. Fixed-scope projects governed by a signed statement of work; monthly retainers for ongoing managed coverage of a technology such as Linux patching or backup administration; and prepaid blocks of hours for on-demand escalation. Most partners start with a block of hours to test the relationship, then move to retainer or project work.

How fast can you start?

Scoping calls typically happen within one to two business days. For block-of-hours partners with an agreement already in place, escalation work can usually begin the same week. Large migration projects are scheduled around your client maintenance windows and, for education clients, the academic calendar.

Do you carry your own agreements and insurance?

Yes. We work under a master services agreement with each partner, with individual statements of work beneath it, and we can execute your paperwork or provide ours. Certificates of insurance are available on request.

What if the project needs hardware or licensing?

Your call entirely. If you already have an HPE or distribution relationship, keep it — we deliver professional services on top of equipment you sold every week. If you would rather not carry the procurement, we can supply it: HPE ProLiant, Alletra, Aruba, and VM Essentials, plus Microsoft CSP, Veeam VCSP, CrowdStrike, and Arctic Wolf licensing, and AWS billing transfer. Either way it is quoted and invoiced to you, never to your client.

Can you support a client at 2am?

For retained managed services, yes — coverage windows including 24/7 are defined in the statement of work. For project work, cutovers are routinely scheduled overnight and on weekends, because that is when maintenance windows exist.
